The institute for financial services has over 15 years experience with European Directives in the field of "consumer protection/financial services" and accomplished several international projects for the European Commission to analyse the current legal situation and the practice of consumer protection in most EU-Countries; see for example: Study of the Legislation relating to Consumer Overindebtedness in all European Union Member States / Monitoring the uptake and the effectiveness of the Voluntary Code of Conduct on Pre-contractual Information for Home LoansDue to this fact the institute for financial services has built up several networks in Europe with associations and national research institutes. Drafting law for future EU-Member States to implement European Directives is a key qualification of the institute for financial services.
To give an overview about different legal systems all over the world and to show new legal approaches helps to optimise and to advantage the legal system not only for new Member States but also for current EU-Countries.
